CSA-COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE
CSA-COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE
CSA-Community Supported Agriculture: We are in keeping with the original concept of the CSA. We grow everything you receive in your share. Hate to tell you many of the CSA's popping up are bought and boxed up produce from big ag, not always grown by the farmer. With this said," you get what you get & you don't get upset."We put our heart and soul into everything we grow. You are eating seasonally for 20 weeks. This season we do a farm pick up in Easton as well as a drop off at Wakeman Town Farm in Westport and Black Rock. If a farmer is really growing their own, there is no guarantee in nature. Weather, pests and even deer can come in and destroy a crop overnight. Doing our CSA is an investment with us taking and understanding the good with the bad. In our 8 years providing such a service I thankfully never had to tell anyone to skip a week because of crop damage. Signs ups for our 2014 season have been filled. Space is limited. E-mail me Farmgal596@gmail.com for the application to download and review. PASTURE RAISED EGGS
Our hens are able to roam freely in their natural environment. Such conditions provide you with an egg higher in vitamin A & Omega 3. Due to the high demand we recommend stopping by during the morning hours, but it is not a guarantee you will get some. We've been told time after time, ours are the best around.
